Ingredients

Roasted and crushed 1 urad dal papad
Beaten rice (poha) 1 cup(thin)
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)1/4 tsp
Raw peanuts 1 tbsp
Dry coconut (kopra) , 1 tbsp
Asafoetida (hing)a pinch of
Turmeric powder (haldi)1/4 tsp
Green chillies 2
Curry leaves (kadi patta)4
Roasted chana dal 1 tbsp
Salt as required

Method

In a non-stick pan roast the beaten rice for 4 to 5 minutes or till when it becomes crispy. Keep it aside.
In a broad non-stick pan heat the oil and add the mustard seeds to it.
Add the peanuts, dry coconut to the pan and saute it on a low flame untill they turn into golden brown in colour.
Now add asafoetida, turmeric powder, curry leaves, green chillies, and roasted chana dal and for a few more seconds and sauté on a medium flame.
Add the roasted beaten rice, salt and roasted papad (crushed), mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
Cool and store in an air-tight container.
