Robert Pattinson names need no introduction in itself. The smart, good looking, handsome hunk is one of the most desirable, talented and bankable actors of Hollywood.

Robert Pattinson was born on May 13, 1986, in London.  At the age of 12, Pattinson took modeling as his career. But soon after 4 years, his career as a model became stagnant and his workload began to decline. So he had to quit modeling. Then he started auditioning for movie roles. To polish his acting skills he started involving himself in amateur theatre at Barners Theatre Company.

He got through many auditions but was getting small roles. He played small roles in Guys and Dolls, Our Town, Anything Goes and Macbeth. The major turning point of his career was the portrayal of Cedric Diggory in the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. One of the prestigious British daily “The Times” named him as the “British Star of Tomorrow”.

While he was about to quit acting too and return to London due to lack of good offers, he got a call for auditioning for the role of Edward Cullen. And as they say rest is history, he begged the role and was nationwide heart throb, his posters in every teenager girl’s room and since then there was no looking back.

To add one more feather in his cap, Robert is also honoured with the title of “The Sexiest Men Alive” by the People Magazine for the year 2008 & 2009.

Not only he is a good actor, he is a great musician too. He knows how to play guitar and piano. His one of the song was featured in the first twilight movie.
