Deepika Padukone was born on 5 January 1986; she is an Indian film actress. She is the daughter of the badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and then raised in Bangalore. As a teenager girl, like her father she took her steps in same line sports (badminton), she played badminton in national level championships also but left her career in the sport to become a fashion model that is her interest.

One of the famous highest-paid actresses in the whole world, Padukone is the recipient of various awards, including important three Filmfare Awards. She features in listings of the nation’s most popular, graceful and attractive personalities.

She soon received many offers for different film roles and made her acting debut in 2006 as the main character of the Kannada film name was Aishwarya.

Afterward, she played also a different dual role in her first Bollywood Farha Khan Film release the 2007 blockbuster Om Shanti Om and won a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut with great King Khan (Shah Rukh Khan). Padukone received support for greatly playing lead roles in the romantic movie Love Aaj Kal (2009) and the drama Lafangey Parindey (2010), but her excellent performances in the romance Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) and the comedy Housefull (2010) were met with few negative reviews.

Box office hit movie “Cocktail” became a turning point in Padukone’s career in 2012. She raised to eminence with starring different kind of acting roles in the romantic comedies Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and Chennai Express (2013), the remarkable comedy Happy New Year (2014), and the old historical romance Bajirao Mastani with Ranveer Singh (2015), all of which rank among the highest-grossing Bollywood films. Padukone’s acclaimed portrayal of a different character based on Juliet in the tragic romance with Ranveer Singh Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela which gained so much popularity in 2013 and a strong architect in the comedy-drama Piku (2015) won her two Best Actress awards at Filmfare. Her first project in Hollywood came with the action film xXx: Return of Xander Cage in 2017.
