250 gms maida (Flour)

1 tsp sugar

100 ml milk

2 Tbsp oil

1 tsp desi ghee or oil


Make a dough of maida with sugar & milk, like every dough mixer.

Add oil or desi ghee & knead well till it turns glutinous.

Make dough small balls & roll it out into a thin roti or chappati. Pleat it from one edge, and gently stretch the dough.


Tuck the other end inside and roll inwards from another end. Gently press the dough & roll it out with a rolling pin. Fry it with desi ghee. Serve hot with curry.
