Another name of Mithun Chakraborty is Gourang Chakraborty but people called him by his stage name Mithun. Mithun Chakraborty achieved three National Film Awards. He began his career as a junior actor. He is known as one of the best ‘Dancing Heroes’ in Bollywood. His dance style of the song “ I am a disco dancer” is very famous among people.

Mithun is best known for his role in the film ‘Disco Dancer’ as Jimmy. Disco Dancer was the blockbuster movie not only in India, also in many countries.

Mithun Chakraborty has given many superhit films to the Bollywood. He won Film Fare award for best supporting actor in the film ‘Agneepath’ for the role of ‘Krishnan Iyer Nariyal Paniwala’.
